New Zealand vs Bangladesh 3rd ODI : New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 164 runs

Maiden centuries from Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell before James Neesham’s five-for and Matt Henry’s four-for helped New Zealand massive 164-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a fighting knock from Mahmudullah’s 76* and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a one-sided game of the third ODI.

* New Zealand’s 164-run win was their second-largest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.

This is the 14th time New Zealand has whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in a One-day international and they’re sixth against Bangladesh in ODIs.

* This is the 26th time Bangladesh has suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in One-day internationals.

* New Zealand’s 316 was their sixth-highest score against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.

* Devon Conway’s 126 was his highest score for New Zealand in a One-day international and the second-highest score by a New Zealand batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs after Tom Latham’s 137.

* 159: Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Bangladesh in a One-day international, previously held by the 158-run stand between Tom Latham and Colin Munro at Christchurch in 2016 and New Zealand’s second-highest fifth-wicket stand in ODIs.

* James Neesham’s 5 for 27 was his best bowling performance for New Zealand in a One-day international and the third-best bowling figures by a New Zealand bowler against Bangladesh in ODIs.

New Zealand scored a massive total of 318-6 in 50 overs with top scorer Devon Conway 126 off 110-balls – which was his 1st ODI hundred – including 17-fours with a strike rate of 114.55.

Daryl Mitchell hammered an unbeaten 100 off 92-balls – which was his 1st ODI hundred – including 9-fours & 2-sixes with a strike rate of 108.70, Martin Guptill 26, Henry Nicholls, and Tom Latham both scored 18.

Bangladesh best bowler by Rubel Hossain picked up 3-wickets, Soumya Sarkar, Taskin Ahmed, and Mustafizur Rahman each took one-wickets.

Bangladesh scored 154 for all-out in 42.4 overs with top scorer Mahmudullah cracked an unbeaten 76 off 73-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with a strike rate of 104.11, Liton Das 21, and Mushfiqur Rahim 21.

New Zealand best bowler by James Neesham registered a career-best 5-wicket haul for 27-runs in 7.4-overs including a maiden, Matt Henry claimed 4 wickets for 27-runs in 10-overs included two maidens and Kyle Jamieson took one-wicket.

Devon Conway named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best 126-runs knocked off facing 110-balls including 17-fours with a strike rate of 114.55.

Devon Conway earned player of the series for contributing 225-runs including one-century and a fifty in the three-match ODI series.
