Babar Azam broke the record for the highest fourth-innings score by a captain in Test cricket during Pakistan’s second match against Australia in Karachi on Wednesday.

Babar’s record-breaking knock came during Pakistan’s pursuit of the 506-run target set by Australia. He surpassed former England captain Michael Atherton’s unbeaten 185 against South Africa in 1995.
